Going down Chillingham Road yesterday, I saw signs of a new cafe coming soon.
Nova Cafe & Bakery looks to be taking up residence at 262 Chillingham Road, with some social media sleuthing confirming that they’ll be opening soon, and plan to serve up fresh pastries, a range of sweet and savoury baked goods, artisan sourdough bread, breakfast options and quality coffee – all made fresh everyday.
We’re spoiled for choice for cafes in Heaton, and places to eat on Chillingham Road, but look forward to welcoming the team and sampling the food and drink on offer once the doors open.
262 Chillingham Road is no stranger to queues of hungry Heaton residents, with the former occupant having been the ever-popular Sketchs sandwich deli.
